Ah you’ve set my heart ablaze
With your flaming word craze
So I’ll strike while I’m ironing
(Cause the iron is hot)
We’re alert to the ember
In November and December
And we try so hard
To avoid being charred
But as everyone knows
(Even those with no hose)
If we fail to act on lessons learned…
Then all we've earned is the right to be burned (!)
There are few higher glories than inspiring spontaneous poetry. Thank you for your dazzling rhymes
